Are you /living like/ a Christian? An Easter afterthought.
Someone recently told me a story about a man who was in a foreign prison. He had become a Christian and devoted his life to God, learning more about him, and sharing this truth with anyone who would listen. After a season of living a “changed” life one of his fellow inmates asked him “What is Jesus like”? The guy simply said “He is like me”.
Can you imagine if you were living your life so devoted to Christ and what he taught that all you had to do is refer to yourself as an example of who Jesus is? One of the many things that made me go from a “I was raised a Christian” fake to a believer was the notion that the actions of an average Christian is no different than that of someone that denies the existence of God. I was so disappointed in my lack of testimony. I was cursing, smoking, drinking, cheating, abusive, and compulsive in just about every area that isn’t good. What a shame.
This isn’t a sermon, just a reminder to examine your walk. Who are you? Does your life scream “love” and the attributes of your Savior? Remember that what you do, how you talk, lead, interact, says a lot to the people questioning your belief.

We are starting a series here at The Rock about who Jesus is and what people have said about Him. Let us not complicate the matter even more by our lack of spirit and service. JesusDilemma Series Site
