Ideas. Work. Community

I am the Creative Video Director at The Rock Church in San Diego, Ca. I am a motion graphic artist, videographer, director, and a photographer. I'm looking to learn from artists and share some things that I have discovered in my own journey.

Apathetic? Indifferent? Need a new perspective?

Miles McPherson is planning a new type of video product where he not only delivers a message of hope and renewal in pretty dark and hurting places but it challenges Christians to have the appropriate perspective. I see homeless people, I drive by strip clubs on the way to the church, and I see sick and poor every day. Have we become so indifferent that we not only have very little physical impact but we don’t even see souls? I want to learn how to see people through the lens of God’s love. After all that is what he challenges us to do with his own example.

This was an old video I did for Cornerstone that I want to build on for the branding of this video series. What are your thoughts?

APATHY

I wanted to make a piece that dealt with the character flaws we all have that might prevent us from making an impact on our world. I think the biggest one we Americans have is “Apathy”. We see the problem, but do nothing about it. This is a charge and prayer to break free from that.
