Check out my new film. Such a great project to be involved with. The Rock Films crew came together and pulled this off so quickly but did such a great job. Would love feedback and help getting it out there. We have the full (Longer) version coming soon!

I’m beginning to see how much of life I am missing out on without full belief in the Spirit. Where do you see your world turned upside down these days?

I’m blown away that the people at the Rock show up every day of the week to love, care, and bless the poor. I’m proud to tell this story and to celebrate what is happening here in San Diego. Sure this is a corporate piece but it’s a great message that has unified 12-15k southern californians to engage their neighbors with the love of Jesus Christ. Are there great stories you...

I’m proud of this piece. As always, I welcome your feedback so I can; improve, follow trend and relevance, and keep sharp. Thanks. Thoughts?

The vision to love the world and be a vessel of hope is what attracts me to the Rock Church. No organization is better equipped to care for the ‘broken’ than the local church. We have a body of people that love their neighbors and their city, we have a leader who communicates the gospel well, a staff that loves God and wants to inspire anyone that experiences the Rock, and a vision...

Doing creative projects for yourself.
As of late I find myself overwhelmed with desires to make videos challenging; injustice, the modern organized and corporate religion, atheist christians, apathy, and other various random topics of the human condition. I’m searching for the confidence, courage, and energy to tackle some of these things over the next several months or years.
If you ever have an idea that would make a great...

A lot of work went into this project. I’m pretty happy with how it came out. I love the team I work with and the freedom to pursue ideas that are risky. Check out www.christopherloope.com and/or rockfilms.tumblr.com for more info.
I want to thank the rock production/video team, Atomic Tom, and Spike Jonze for the character inspiration.

More from yourself
Risk more than others think is safe. Care more than others think is wise. Dream more than others think is practical. Expect more than others think is possible.
How often do we accept only the ordinary from ourselves? If you are waking up today and you have everything planned out perfectly, you can’t have margin to receive and capitalize on opportunities that life throws at you.

A Time For Everything
I read this today.
Ecclesiastes 3
Chapter 3
A Time for Everything
1 For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.2 A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest.3 A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to tear down and a time to build up.4 A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance.5 A time to scatter...

With a background in photography, I wanted to capture athletes in what would feel like a moving photograph. Without the power and consistency of a strobe light/flash, we used a reflector. I worked with my friend Jim on this project. He has a great understanding of shooting DSLR video. I helped create vision on the angles and worked with the actors to get the vibe we were going for.
In post I...

Who else is using Google+
I know a lot of us are thinking google + won’t ever have anything on facebook. Initially I wasn’t going to even give it a second glance, but a friend sent me an invitation and I checked it out. I actually like it. It’s a whole lot cleaner, for now, without ads, applications, and noise. You can easily manage what you see in your stream and put people in more appropriate circles;...

I felt like re-posting my video “Apathy” in light of a new magazine my buddy worked on with Relevant.
Help us get this message of Rejecting Apathy out there.

Social Justice Groups meet the Microphone
The more I look around and get frustrated with the injustices of the world the more I search for hope and answers for those in need. I am finding that from very young, caring, and energetic people to established organizations there are answers. I’m trying to figure out where I fit in all of this.
I’m starting to wonder if the next project I work on is the act of introducing these all...

I’m reminiscing on how intense this project was for the timeline and budget I was given. I was trying to figure out if I was going to make the creatures out of material, make custom puppetry or what? It ended up making most sense for the financial and time constraints to make the environments and creatures out of photos. Has anyone else created something like this? What did you do to create...
